Field Notes
I am happy because...
"I have a skating dress rehearsal tonight!" -Althea
"Because life is good and we have water!" -Finn
"Because I just am." -Tyler
We see, hear, and smell...
A woodsy scent mixed in with smoke from our school. We see the tree with a fence in the background, and the pavement of the sidewalk. We hear a lot of other kids yelling and running around.
We are surprised by what we found or didn't find because...
We expected to find a lot less Hemlock tree's than we actually found because there are not too many tree's on campus, and we did not realize that a large majority of them are Hemlock.
Question and Problems we ran into...
How do we reach the needles on the taller trees? Our answer was to find smaller and younger tree.
